Halloween Treats

Not exactly a cake, but here are some cookies my son and I made for Halloween.

Purple Bats, Orange Cats, and Bloody Skeletons.

Purple Hydrangea Bouquet

This is the cake I made my mother for her birthday.

It is purple/blue hydrangea bouquet made with 16 standard sized cupcakes. 

It is in a glass vase with blue and purple glass weights.

Sweet 16 Doll Cake

This is a cake I made for my sister's sweet sixteen!!

It is a two layer cake, with a rice krispie and chocolate doll.

All the decorations are made from fondant.

Pink Rose Stand

This is my birthday cake from this year.

It is swirled icing with rose royal icing decorations.

I love Disney so I used princess liners.

Camouflage Cupcakes

I only had an hour to make my husbands birthday cake this year so it's pretty simple.

It is camouflage cupcakes, to honour his 6 years in the US Army.

Sesame Street Stand

This is my son's second birthday cake.

He really loves Sesame Street, so I decided to make that his birthday theme.

I made Cookie Monster (blue), Elmo (red), Oscar (green), the Count (purple), and Telly (pink.)

 

Star-Spangled Banner

This cupcakes were made for Independence Day.

They are even red, white and blue on the inside. I like how they turned out, 

I can't wait to make something similar next July 4th.

Scooby Doo

This cake was for my sons first birthday. My favourite show as a child was Scooby Doo. With the reboot of 'Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated' we started watching it with our baby. Hence the cake!!
